Kenyan Lawyer Fadhil Abdi Bare has urged Chief Justice Martha Koome to voluntarily resign before the end of 2025, warning her that she will be bangled out if she delays.
Posting on his X account, the Kenyan Young Advocate urged the CJ to voluntarily resign to save the judiciary’s image amid claims of corruption and bribery among its top officers, including judges.
This comes after massive allegations erupted linking top judges to fraud, bribery, and corruption scandals.

It’s because of this that Bare warned that, based on these claims, it will be very difficult for the CJ to be at the helm of the Apex Court.
“I don’t think if
@CJMarthaKoome
will survive the onslaught in 2025 coming from the Senior Bar. Her position as Kenya’s Chief Justice is untenable! Let her resign NOW to save the judiciary’s image. A country can’t survive a corrupt judicial system,” read his tweet in parts.
Other senior advocates led by Ahmednasir Abdullahi, Nelson Havi, and others held a press conference last week in Nairobi calling for her resignation amidst increased cases of corruption in the judiciary.
Lawyer Bare now becomes the youngest advocate to call out the authority to help tackle massive grafts within the Judiciary.
