Lawyer Danstan Omari’s political ambitions seem to have gathered momentum as various political factions seek him to fly their political flag in the next polls.
Sources aware of the matter claim that some political bigwigs have vowed to support his bid to clinch the senate seat months after the GENZs threw their support behind him.
A close confidant within Lawyer Danstan Omari’s circle reveals that his main objective today is to do ground mobilization and confirm to the Nairobians that he is ready to serve them.
” Wakili is very keen on engaging his employers, the Nairobians. He is also in touch with the Genzs who are mostly found in space and he has so far confirmed to them that their prayers were well answered and he will be replacing Senator Sifuna in the next polls,” said a source aware of the matter.
Speaking during the burial of Lawyer Reuben Jack’s burial Ceremony at Birongo Nyaribari Chache Constituency, Lawyer Omari affirmed that he was on the Nairobi race to stay.
” I want to confirm to you here today that I am in the race for the Nairobi Senate to stay, victory is ours to lose. Nairobi people alongside the GENZs asked me to vie and bring good governance in the city and I said yes to the task,” said Omari.
He said that Nairobi being the Capital of Kenya and which is depended on by all Kenyans from all over the country needed good governance and representation and alluded to his confidence in ensuring that it gets the best.
Omari’s assertions come barely a day after some ODM leaders castigated Senator Edwin Sifuna for allegedly working closely with Gachagua’s Wamunyoro fractions to undermine the party.
” We want to warn you Sifuna that your days in ODM are numbered, we are aware that you are working closely with Wamunyoro to undermine the party, and we also know that you are planning to quit the party and vie on Wamunyoro allied political movement,” Makadara Mp George Aladwa said as quoted with Citizen TV.
Political experts have warned that Lawyer Danstan Omari Nairobi’s political entrance will cause a lot of fire wax as he is an acceptable candidate who is seen as unstable.
